Relio holds a fintech license by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).

We are regulated under the Swiss Federal Banking Act Art. 1b, which stipulates that client funds must be securely deposited with the Swiss National Bank or correspondent banks and that client funds may not be used for risky transactions, investments or other purposes.

Please note that Relio's deposits are not covered by deposit insurance, as the regulator has put in place the above safeguards.Customer funds get deposited at the Swiss National Bank and cannot be used for risk transactions, investments, or other purposes. Due to these restrictions, Relio's deposits are not covered by deposit insurance.
